Well I took some time after our session to fuck around with the maptools program on my computer, along with java. I did some tweaking (honestly I don't even know what I changed) and when I tried relaunching the web-program, it worked perfectly. So, while this might not be the biggest news to any of you, I am very fucking excited that it now works, and I won't have any lag or drop issues. So, yeah!
