| Should we use the errata updates? I am 50/50 like there are some changes (like the word "ally" inlcuding you) and whatnot but I mean its adding more rules to the new ones we just learned. I think it should kinda be all or nothing though since like some take power away and some give extra etc.. I don't care just curious so I don't look at it and call it out as new rules and have confusion. FYI here is the link, took me a while to find it the first time but I am dumb. http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/updatesOn D&D main page under products and then updates. | |

| Are any of the additions particularly significant? | |

| Errata are just corrtections of typos n shit, and this is in reference to the errata of the core 4th ed rule books. The errata are generally useful because they often help to further clarify ambiguous or poorly described things. | |

| Although in many cases it seems like they are making substantive changes. Most involve things I haven't looked at too closely in the PH, so I'm not in a good position to judge. | |

| shit, i hit yes on the poll but i meant to hit NO. I for one don't think I will keep up and read the continual addition of the erratta so I would rather not use it since if we all don't read it then some people will know some and others will not and might lead to more confusion | |

| In general, I think we should use the errata, but only under certain circumstances. I think we should defer to it if we have questions about something, in order to see if the errata helps to clarify a particular point. I should we should regularly use it in this way, which will be a consistent use of the errata, but will not require us all to remain completely up-to-date with them.

| Someone could take control of reading it and then creating a sticky post dedicated solely to updates of new rules and clarifications. | |

| For what it's worth, errata is generally something that they just post once for typos and shit. It is not intended to be a running system patch. I would hope that these changes are the last changes that they will make. | |

I wanted to make a quick note. I was cruising the erratta trying to look at something and I noticed they are indeed updating it they have 2 revisions so far (one in July and on this month on the 11th). But I expect that as the product is still new and questions and issue come up on forums and in RPGA sessions that need to be clarified. I don't know how often it will update but I will say the 08/11 revision had a lot more in it. Most of them are terrifically minor so I am not worried about it. ("In the table, replace “Ignore Hunger: 10 + 2 per day” with “Ignore Hunger (after 3 weeks): 20 + 5 per day.”" hmm great..) | |
