Wizards

I'm not going to lie, I haven't really looked at the wizard very closely, and I'm posting this largely to capitalize on those who have paid closer attention. But it looks, at first glance, like the wizard's new power-spells are very attack based, and not so much with the defense or utility. Have others noticed that as well? How do you think that's going to shake out? The wizard was often the dude who pulled crazy solutions out of his ass, and the new formulation seems to be much more direct.

Well I have limited info on the PhB, like I said I hate reading the PDF version, but I glanced over all classes and gravitated toward the wizard and have spent a little more time there.Anyway, wizards get utility spells, i'm actually not sure if all characters get these, which are kind of the random pull something out of your ass ability. Also, another thing unique to wizards are the use of Rituals. These are essentially scrolls that can be mastered into a spell book that take pretty long cast time(minutes usually) and do normally non combat things. Tenser's floating disc is in there, Raise dead for cleric rituals, that kind of thing. Also the fact that a lot of wixard powers come with secondary benefits, like an ice attack that does damage AND slows them to half speed. I looked in there and there is still some potential to have that pull something out of your ass idea but nothing akin to memorizing Magic Mouth and somehow saving the day with it

Thanks, I just ran into that one recently. I thought about writing something involving "qq" or possibly a joke involving emo kids crying more, but I thought I should restrict it to just one.

I'm guessing "/wrist" means to slash one's wrist, and I know emo is basically a pussy goth, but what does "qq" mean?
