As the party rests in the former torture cell the small goblin that they freed, Splug, regales them with his drunken tales and songs. From what you can make sense of it sounds as if Splug used to be important or at least well ranked amongst these goblins (if goblins are organized enough to have "Ranks"). He tells you that Balgron The Fatass (as he calls him, something may be lost in translation to Common) was a nobody back when he lived amongst his native tribe in the higher reaches of the mountains. However one day he was caught by Kalarel, who frequented the area, and was made into a slave to Orcus will. Balgron came back to his tribe and started an uprising in the name of Orcus, the tribe was split and took sides resulting in a violent clash. In the end Splug's family was killed, he managed to hide and later commit himself to Balgron's new tribe in hopes of a murderous revenge. As he finishes the story he begins weeping and drunkenly babbling within a few moments he is sprawled face down on the cold, dank, stone floor sleeping like a baby with the neck of the ale bottle still hanging from his mouth....
